Wyatt wins 5th World
Mountain Running Trophy Title
Jonathan Wyatt has become the first man to win the World Mountain
Running Trophy in both the uphill and up-and-down hill formats.
His four previous wins had all been of the uphill variety, but
Wyatt showed his versatility on Sunday when he won on the up-and-down
Mount Victoria course in front of an appreciative home crowd.
Wyatt's win was all the more stunning for the break he put on
the field, finishing over 2 mins ahead of second place getter,
Gabriele Abate of Italy.
